RAD-TOLERANT
VA54239
Dual Core Arm® Cortex®-M55 Microcontroller
Cost-Optimized Mixed Signal Compute Engine
The rad-tol VA54239 is the twin chip to the rad-hard VA53239 —engineered to be functionally identical in every way except with rightsized radiation performance for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) at a fraction of the cost. The VA54239 uses our unique new Radiation Tolerance by Design (RTBD) approach for mission-matched reliability and breakthrough price/performance, at a fraction of the cost.
Specifications
The rad-tol VA54239 MCU is 100% pin-to-pin, software, and electrically compatible with its
rad-hard VA53239 twin, delivering seamless scalability across deep space and all Earth’s orbits with different radiation performance profiles.
