VA5 FAMILY

Accelerated Performance

For Next-Gen Space

Dual-Core Capability for Critical Payloads

The VA5 microcontroller family pairs two 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M55 cores with mixed-signal peripherals, motor control, and a full communications suite, delivering greater compute headroom for complex real-time workloads. Each component is available in radiation-hardened and radiation-tolerant versions, allowing engineers to match the level of protection to the mission environment without changing the underlying design.

With two 32-bit Arm Cortex-M55 cores running up to 200 MHz, both the VA5 radiation-hardened and radiation-tolerant MCUs deliver high-throughput, low-latency compute for complex real-time control. Compared with VORAGO’s single-core VA4 workhorse, the VA5 offers 2x the speed and 5x the capability for advanced aerospace, defense and autonomous systems. Advanced fault tolerance, protected program and data memory, communications and analog-control interfaces provide a dependable platform for onboard payload control and other mission-critical applications.
